Map: ISO Standards
Navigation hub for the ISO/IEC standards library supporting the PECB ISO 42001 Lead Auditor Certification project and IGA delivery. This map is the entry point for consuming any standard in the wiki and is updated each time a standard is ingested.
How a standard lives in this wiki
Each ingested standard has exactly three artefacts (per the wiki schema):
- Raw text — the licensed PDF, read-only, in
_raw_sources/named by S-tag (e.g.S-2022-07-iso-iec-22989.pdf). Never edited; respects licence terms (single-user, no reproduction). - Source page — in
sources/: faithful summary of what the standard itself says, notable verbatim definitions, speculative-vs-asserted markers. - Study Topic page — in
topics/: the working synthesis — TL;DR, key points, clause map with study weights, terminology traps, and an “Exam & audit relevance” section tied to the 42001 LA pathway.
Consume in that order reversed: start at the Topic page; drop to the Source page for what the text actually claims; open the raw PDF only for clause-level wording. Two clicks from any claim to the raw text.
Standards ingested
- ISO 22989 — AI Concepts and Terminology — SC 42 vocabulary base (117 terms, concepts, life cycle, trustworthiness, stakeholder roles). Ingested 2026-08-17.
Standards awaited (42001 LA pathway set)
Per the acquisition research S-2026-08-09-iso-standards-acquisition, the pathway references seven standards; the remaining six get the same three-artefact treatment on ingestion:
- ISO/IEC 42001 — AI management system requirements (entity stub exists: ISO 42001; full text not yet ingested).
- ISO/IEC 23894 — AI risk management (invoked at every life cycle stage of 22989 clause 6).
- ISO 19011:2026 — auditing management systems (note edition change from 2018 — see open question on the project page).
- ISO/IEC 17021-1 — requirements for audit/certification bodies.
- ISO/IEC 42005 — AI system impact assessment (buy-or-defer open).
- ISO/IEC 42006 — requirements for bodies auditing/certifying AIMS (buy-or-defer open).
